They tell you that your tiny little baby is going to grow up so fast, and you’re going to miss these days when they’re gone. They tell you that it will all be over and your sweet little one will be her own big person faster than you know it. They tell you not to blink, and usually you just shrug it off, and I did the same thing. But then I blinked, and my baby isn’t a baby anymore.

This one is going to be a personal post for me. My oldest sweet girl, my first baby, the one that made me a mother 8 years ago is growing up right before my eyes. I wish I had listened to them sooner.

It’s true what they say, “Babies don’t keep.” And I’m going to hold onto this baby just a little tighter, just as long as she’ll let me.
