Oh, sweet Evelyn. She has her mama’s eyes, smile and crazy hair and her daddy’s nose, chin and ears. She’s the perfect mix of the two of them and their love for her is beyond words. I met this tiny girl during her newborn photo session here in my Bentonville studio. As soon as I caught a glimpse of those scrumptious cheeks, those little dimples, and that gorgeous hair, I was in looooove. How could you not be though? She was such a little dream and I absolutely loved getting to know her sweet mom and dad.

Allow my to introduce you to the gorgeous, Evelyn.

“I told my husband [that we were pregnant] on Father’s Day! I placed an egg shaped maraca in a box with the words, ‘we’re eggs-pecting'”

“We found out the gender of our baby at 15 weeks. We both wanted a boy and everyone else guessed boy too! Three days before we went for the ultrasound, I had a dream I was holding a baby girl. When the tech announced it was a girl, we both screamed and laughed with joy! Our hearts were happy!”

“The best part was feeling her move around and kick/punch. I would poke her and she would respond back.”

“Labor and delivery went very smoothly considering she was my first. I pushed for 20-30min and she arrived! Dad did not want to cut the umbilical cord because he was nervous. Oh daddy.”

“My first thoughts [when I saw here] were how tiny she was and how much hair she had on that little head of hers! She was perfect!”

“Our first few days at home went pretty well. Staying awake was the real challenge!

“My advice [to new parents] is to buy pod pjs for night time. They have a double zipper that makes changing diapers at night easy! Buy everything with zippers!”
